We are with James, the Assistant Director of Sport and the Course Leader on the BWFCISS Football Studies Programme...
Q. So James how has February gone for the lads?
A. Both teams have been hard in training and fixtures have started to come thick and fast. There is a great buzz around campus and the lads seem to have formed a great bond.
Q. How have the teams performed in matches?
A. The A Team have performed very well, their understanding along with their ability and fitness has improved which has a big impact. They have won 3 on the bounce now with there most impressive result and performance last week against a strong Preston North End side (5-2).
The B Team have been developing well and have had some decent performances. Results haven’t gone there way of late but it will only be a matter of time before they turn the corner.
Q. What is on the agenda for the upcoming Month?
A. We have already got off to a good start in March with an excellent result against PNE, we have a full fixture list for both squads and 2 tournaments coming up, the first on home soil at Preston College and the second in Madrid which is very exciting for the lads.
Q. We believe there is a new member of the BWFCISS staff?
A. Yes March sees the start of our latest recruit to the BWFCISS team in Shuan Couch, he has come in to run the B Team. Shaun came in highly recommended and has previously worked for Blackburn Rovers and Blackpool FC.
We are glad to have Shaun on board and already he has a positive impact on campus.
Thanks James..... We will catch up soon and good luck!
