Presbytarian Mens Soccer meet USA and BWFC star Stuart Holden

Ahead of the first team game vs Aston Villa on Saturday 5th March Presbytarian Mens Soccer team from the USA got a real treat as they met USA and BWFC star Stuart Holden.

The group visited Bolton Wanderers Football Club International Soccer School on a Matchday Package as part of their UK tour arranged by XL Travel. The package included a 2 hour training session and match tickets where they got to see a brilliant game in which BWFC won 3-2 with goals from Cahill (2) and Klasnic not forgetting a penalty save from Jaaskelinen.

Due to the Davis Cup (tennis) being played in the Bolton Arena where the International Soccer School would normally host the training session the session was moved to another venue and due to the high demand for facilities the timing of the training session was brought forward. Unfortunately for the USA team it meant another early start on what was there last day here in the UK, for the inconvenience the staff here at the ISS planned a surprise for the group taking them pitchside for a photo with Stuart Holden which certainly became a highlight of there time here in the UK.

For this game the International Soccer School also had visitors over from Estonia and South Africa, the Estonians were coaches from our International Partners at the Andres Oper Football School where former Arsenal Keeper Mart Poom was part of the travelling party and from South Africa we had Rasthoem Simons from Simsport International who is looking to become our International Partner there.
