The link between Bolton Wanderers Football Club and Bolton Wanderers Soccer Club continues to grow in strength with the club from Canada having its most successful season ever according to head coach Billy McKenna he said;
“The season was very successful for the club as a whole. All our teams in the elite divisions competed very well with several finishing in the top three or four, all finishing high enough to remain in the top tier. We have approximately ten players in the district programs and a couple in the provincial which is one away from national level. Our link with BWFC and the International Soccer School has certainly made a big impact with the introduction on their player development ideas and testing.”
BWSC have also have won the League Cup at U11's, U14's and the U13's also won the league overall as well, what a double that was for them. Two of the teams also reached the finals only to lose out in which were both very close games. On top of that we cannot forget the U13's Girls won the prestigious USA Cup!
The new found partnership is proving to be a formidable link for both teams involved and the International Soccer School look forward to welcoming three boys over at the end of the month to compete in the BWFCISS Grand Skills 2010 Final held at the Reebok Stadium.
