The International Soccer School recently welcomed 30 French students over from FM Sports. They are here for 1 month on an Educational Football Studies Programme working with us and our partners in this venture 'Inlingua'.
The group arrived on the 23rd November and will leave us on the 18th December. Since arriving they have had a very busy programme with football and education being the focus. As part of the package the boys have also been on excursions to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. The group have also had a tour of the Reebok and have had the full Premiership experience from our coaching team. While they are here the group have been having English Lessons with the classes taking place in the Reebok Stadium itself. Plus they have been to St Joseph's School for a day to see and experience our school system where they had an English Lesson, PE Lesson and a Cooking Lesson which they all found very exciting; they even ate what they made!
The boys have had competitive matches against local teams with the younger boys winning 9-0 and the older boys played our Year Long Football Studies team and drew 0-0. The experience as been fantastic for them and they have really enjoyed the English style of play. FM Sports have brought some very talented young players over for this visit which we have seen through the football testing that we have completed that they have a very good ability all round this and great attitude they have made this a credit to FM Sports and our BWFCISS link with them.
We are already looking forward to FM sports next visit with even more boys already signed up to attend.
