BWFCISS Player signs Pro

Samuel Zimmerman had a very successful 2010/11 season under the guidance of the BWFCISS.

Samuel who originates from Switzerland joined the Football Studies Programme in September 2010 and quickly made an impact within the squad, he had a great attitude and had a superb athletic ability which he showed throughout the year.

Head Coach on the Football Studies Programme James Ward said;

"Sam showed a real desire and hunger to improve and develop over the year. His performances went from strength to strength and he was soon getting interest from a number of clubs. Sam especially impressed during the Alcala Cup in Madrid with great performances against Real Madrid and Deportivo. Sam finished the season strongly and it was no surprise that clubs started to enquire about him."

Sam went on trial at Peterborough FC during pre season with the club asking him back to join the squad at the start of the 2011/12 season. After some thinking he decided to sign for the 1st team at Swiz Pro side FCE making his senior debut last Saturday at right back.

The BWFCISS wish him all the very best for the future!
