The Bolton Wanderers Football Club International Soccer School and its International Gateway partners EduKick recently held its first of what is hoped to be of many Talent ID events.
The event took place in downtown Toronto which was held at the fabulous facilities of Soccer World Central on Pier Point. The back drop of the Toronto skyline was spectacular and only added to all that was on offer making it a great experience for the players who took part.
There was approximatly 20 players who were put through their paces in technical sessions, fitness tests, speed tests and to finish the players took part in games which were very competitive. The aim was to tire the players early with high tempo sessions and then see how they performed. The standard was very high and it became apparent just how good some of these boys were.
The eventual winner Jorgo Nika has a trip of a life time ahead of him as he will be coming to Bolton for a week to train with the BWFCISS Football Studies Programme. He will play in our invitational game against the Grand Skills Finalists and will also get the chance to see the BWFC vs Liverpool, well done to the winner and congratulations from all at BWFCISS.
BWFCISS would also like to thank Joey from EduKick and also Robert and Matt from Soccer World for all their help in this event.
